01Right of withdrawal for consumers
In the case of a distance contract, consumers generally have the right to cancel the contract within fourteen days without giving reasons.
The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient that the notification is sent before the cancellation period has expired.
02Consequences of revocation
If the contract is effectively revoked, AEGIS-SECURITAS will reimburse the payments received based on the revoked contract in accordance with the statutory provisions. In principle, the same payment method that was used for the original transaction will be used for the repayment, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Repayment can be withheld until legitimate counterclaims or legal requirements have been clarified, to the extent permitted by law.
03Express request for early start of benefits
A consumer can expressly request that AEGIS-SECURITAS begin setting up, providing or providing another service before the cancellation period expires. This declaration is voluntary; Without it, an early start cannot be derived solely from a general agreement to the General Terms and Conditions.
If the consumer revokes after an expressly requested early start of services, he may owe an appropriate amount for the services provided up to the revocation in accordance with the legal requirements. The calculation depends on the contractually agreed total price and the ratio of the service already provided to the total scope.
The right of withdrawal only expires if all legally required conditions and express declarations are met.
04Digital content and immediately delivered functions
As far as the contract concerns the provision of digital content that is not on a physical data carrier, the special legal requirements apply for a start before the end of the cancellation period and a possible expiry of the right of cancellation. AEGIS-SECURITAS obtains the necessary declarations separately and provides a confirmation on a durable data carrier if this is required by law.

06Business customers and regular termination
There is no statutory consumer right of withdrawal for contracts that an entrepreneur concludes in the exercise of his commercial or independent professional activity.
The ordinary termination of a current subscription must be distinguished from revocation. It can be declared via the subscription management, via the public “Cancel contract” page or by email to [email protected]. The agreed term and notice period are decisive.
